Dr. Hisham Burezq is a renowned Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in plastic, reconstructive, burn, and pediatric plastic surgery. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Kuwait University and completed his residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at McGill University, Canada, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). He further completed a Pediatric Plastic Surgery Fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto.
Dr. Burezq currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Plastic Surgery at the Kuwait Institution of Medical Specialties (KIMS), Head of Unit at Al-Babtain Center for Burns & Plastic Surgery, and President of the Kuwait Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also the founder of the Kuwait Surgical Hope Team, a charitable multidisciplinary surgical initiative established in 2009.
His expertise includes Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, Burn Reconstruction, Pediatric Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Microsurgery, Cleft Lip & Palate Surgery, and Complex Soft Tissue Reconstruction.
